My name is Bridget Hardy,  and I am a senior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I created this Web site as a way to network and share my thoughts and ideas on different subjects.

I was born in Eunice, La., and grew up in Lafayette. After moving when I was 8, I was raised in Houston, Texas. Growing up in Houston was a great experience, but, when I graduated high school in 2005, I felt that it was time to conquer another state.

I decided to attend college in Tennessee. I know this was irrational and a little outlandish to most, but for me it was a challenge. I wanted to be in a place where I didn't know anyone, and I didn't know my way around.

After being at UT for about three years, I have grown to love Big Orange Country. Not only has UT given me opportunities beyond my wildest dreams, but also showed me that relying on myself is my greatest accomplishment.

My next journey took me to Milan, Italy. I studied there during the fall semester of 2008. My classes were art history, Italian government, Italian communications and photography. It was incredible to go to all of the interesting museums for my classes and photograph the incredible, lavish lifestyle of the Milanese. Also, learning about Italian government and communications gave me a larger world view of politics and media. I loved exploring a new country and being out of the United States for the first time.

I am now back at UT to finish up my senior year. So what is next? Right now, I've got my eye on the prize: graduation. I try to set high goals for myself and I hope to eventually find a job that can combine my two loves: writing and theatre. I love television and reading as well. I know I would be very successful working at a publishing company or for a television network. Because I love music, being the person that finds the right song to accompany a scene on a television show would be so much fun. The possibilities are endless. I know my work ethic and my drive will take me where I want to be. But in spite of all of this, my ultimate goal is to be happy.

Please enjoy the Web site and contact me if you have any questions, suggestions or would simply like to drop me a line. Later days!
